Our mission
At ME Counselling, our mission is to provide compassionate and professional support to individuals seeking mental health guidance. We believe that everyone deserves a safe space to explore their thoughts and emotions.
“Our child was struggling with anxiety, and the support we received was incredible. The counsellor made our child feel safe and understood. We saw real progress—more confidence, better coping skills, and a much happier child.”

Hannah Steed MC, RCC
Clinical Counsellor
Hannah is deeply passionate about supporting youth (10+) and young adults as they navigate complex life challenges and work toward a sense of overall well-being. She specialize in working with ADHD, Autism (ASD), and anxiety from a strength-based lens that honours clients’ choices, wisdom, and skills. She aims to create a sense of safety and trust that facilitates growth and incorporate client interests wherever possible. She use techniques from Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Collaborative and Proactive Solutions, parts work, and art/play-based therapies to provide care that is multifaceted and tailored to the client. As someone who self-identifies as neurodivergent, She pairs therapeutic techniques with real-world experience navigating a world that is not always kind or well suited to neurodivergent individuals. She believes that with the right support and environment, each person can thrive and grow into who they are meant to be. When she is not counselling, you can find her crafting, experimenting with amateur film photography, reading, or taking walks in nature.
Rebekah Hatherly MC, CCC
Rebekah provides warm, creative and neurodivergent-affirming counselling. She has loved working with children and families for over 15 years as a nanny, respite worker, preschool support worker, group facilitator and now as a counsellor.
Rebekah is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for all identities and backgrounds, including 2SLGBTQIA+ and culturally diverse communities. Using a collaborative and trauma-informed lens, Rebekah often draws on a variety of modalities, including parts work, narrative therapy, play therapy, sand tray, and art. Outside of work, Rebekah enjoys exploring tide pools, making music and spending time with her bunnies, Luna and Pippin.
